Puente-genil

Town, Cordova province, in the comunidad autónoma (“autonomous community”) of Andalusia, southern Spain, located south of Cordova city, on the Cordova–Málaga railway. An agricultural centre, Puente-Genil produces olive oil, quince and other fruit jellies, linen, and insecticides. It takes its name from the bridge (puente) over the Genil River connecting the two sections
